# Header menu

> Build the storefront navigation: up to 25 items with icons, dropdowns and per language menus.

**Appearance → Header Editor** controls the menu in the store header, the same structure on every theme.

## Menu items

| Property | Limit |
| - | - |
| Label | 60 characters |
| Link | Site path like /products or a full URL |
| Icon | Pick from the built in icon set, or paste an image URL |
| Dropdown children | Up to 12 per item, same label, link and icon rules |

The whole menu holds up to **25 items**. Items without a label or a link are dropped on save, so an empty row simply disappears rather than breaking the menu.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Links that start with javascript:, vbscript: or data: are removed silently. This is a security filter, use a normal URL.

## Per language menus

The menu is stored per language, with a Turkish and an English variant. Visitors see the menu of the language they are browsing in. If you only sell in one language, fill only that tab.

## Empty menu

If you never save a menu, the header falls back to the built in default: home, products and the pages every store has. Add items only when you want to replace the default set.

## Typical setups

* **Small catalogue**: no dropdowns, four items, one of them the campaign page
* **Game store**: dropdown under "Servers" pointing at each game mode category
* **Content led**: dropdown under "Guides" linking your custom pages

After saving, open the storefront to confirm the labels read well on mobile, long labels wrap into the hamburger menu early.
