# Try the demo

> Open a fully working Vexaris storefront with demo data, no signup needed, and see the admin panel behind it.

The demo is a real storefront with sample products, categories and orders. Nothing is simulated in the layout: what you click is what a customer sees.

## Open a demo store

Go to [demo.vexaris.net/demo](https://demo.vexaris.net/demo) and choose one of six store types. Each card opens a complete storefront with its own catalogue, categories and layout.

| Type | What you see |
| - | - |
| E-pin / Account | Game top-ups and gift cards with stock-first layout |
| E-book / Courses | Downloadable books and course bundles |
| Design | Templates, UI kits and graphics in a gallery layout |
| Software / Bot | License key products and update listings |
| Game server | Ranks and kits with a server status block |
| Other | A neutral mixed catalogue |

## Sign in

```text theme={null}
username: demo
password: demo1234
```

The same account works in every demo store, and the admin panel is reachable at `/admin` inside the store you opened.

## What is disabled

> [!WARNING]
>
> The demo is read only. Adding products, placing orders, changing settings and every other write action are blocked on purpose, and checkout never charges anything.

| Action | Demo behaviour |
| - | - |
| Browsing, search, filters | Works |
| Theme switching | Works, and stays for your session |
| Adding to cart | Visible, but checkout is disabled |
| Admin edits and saves | Refused by the server |
| Email sending | Disabled |

## How the selection is remembered

Your store choice lives in a session cookie. Inside the demo you can move around freely; when the browser closes, the session ends and you pick a store type again on the next visit.

> [!TIP]
