# Glossary

> The terms used across the Vexaris panel and these docs, from e-pin and stock type to landing block and gateway.

> [accordion] E-pin
>
> A pre-purchased code, key or top-up that a customer redeems elsewhere. E-pins are usually sold as single stock: each code is delivered once and then removed from the pool.

> [accordion] Digital product
>
> Anything delivered as a file or a code instead of a shipment. In Vexaris a product can carry one file, a pool of stock items or license keys.

> [accordion] Stock type
>
> How many times a product can be sold. **Single stock** keeps a countable pool and stops sales at zero. **Unlimited stock** lets the same file be sold without a cap.

> [accordion] Automatic delivery
>
> The rule that moves a file or a stock item into the buyer's library the moment a payment is approved, with no manual step from you.

> [accordion] License key
>
> A signed key generated per order, bound to the order, that a product can verify online. Used for software, bots and plugins.

> [accordion] Library
>
> The customer-side page that holds bought products and the download links for them. Downloads are time limited and logged.

> [accordion] Wallet
>
> A balance a customer can top up and spend at checkout. Common in game server stores where buyers pay repeatedly in small amounts.

> [accordion] Coupon
>
> A discount code applied in the cart. Vexaris supports percentage coupons and gift-product coupons, both with usage limits.

> [accordion] Landing block
>
> A section of the storefront homepage: hero, product grid, trust points, reviews, FAQ, news or a custom block. Blocks can be reordered, renamed and switched off.

> [accordion] Theme set
>
> One of the five storefront designs: default, azure, ember, meridian and craft. A theme decides layout and typography; colours and text come from the theme editor.

> [accordion] Gateway
>
> A payment provider integration. Vexaris lists a gateway only when it is fully configured, and uses it automatically when it is the only one ready.

> [accordion] Custom domain
>
> Your own hostname, such as shop.example.com, pointed at the store instead of the shared vexaris.app address. Available from Starter upwards.

> [accordion] Module
>
> An optional add-on that plugs into the store: bank transfer checkout, commission rules, announcement bars. Availability depends on the plan.

> [accordion] Provisioning
>
> The one to two minute process that builds a new store: container, database, starter content and certificate. The card shows progress while it runs.

> [card] [Quickstart](https://docs.vexaris.net/quickstart.md)
>
> Create a store and publish the first product.

> [card] [Store types](https://docs.vexaris.net/store-types.md)
>
> The six starting presets and what they seed.
