# Coupons and campaigns

> Create percentage, fixed amount, gift product and license coupons with usage limits, expiry dates and a full usage log.

**Marketing → Coupons** holds every code, its reward and how often it was used.

## Reward types

| Type | What it does |
| - | - |
| Discount, percent | Takes a percentage off the cart total |
| Discount, fixed amount | Takes a fixed amount off in TRY, USD or EUR |
| Gift product | Adds a chosen product to the order for free |
| Gift license | Issues a license key without a product |

A coupon can carry more than one reward, for example a percentage discount plus a gift product.

## Creating a coupon

**1. Open the form**

Use **Create New Coupon**. The **Random** button generates a readable code for you.

**2. Pick the reward**

Choose the type and the amount, or select the products to grant.

**3. Set the limits**

**Max uses** caps total redemptions. Leave it empty for unlimited.

**4. Set an expiry**

Optional but recommended for campaigns. An empty date means the code never expires.

## Usage log

Every redemption is recorded with the code, the order and the customer. Use **Coupon Usage Logs** to see which campaign actually converted, and delete a code that performed badly instead of leaving it live.

## Campaign patterns that work

* **Launch code**: 20% for the first week, max 50 uses, expiry after seven days
* **Newsletter code**: fixed amount, unlimited uses, no expiry, promoted in the footer
* **Bundle code**: percentage discount plus a small gift product to lift the average order
* **Win back**: license-only code for customers whose product stopped verifying

> [!WARNING]
>
> Coupons stack with product discounts. A 30% product discount plus a 20% coupon gives a much deeper cut than you may expect, so check the cart total before you publish a campaign.
