# Site settings

> Store name, address, currency, logo, splash screen, maintenance mode and verification switches in one place.

Open **Settings → Site Settings**. The page is split into tabs for the site itself, social profiles and file uploads, and ends with a system information panel.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Site URL** must match the address customers actually use, character for character, including https and any custom domain. Social login providers compare this value against their own redirect settings; a mismatch shows up as "redirect\_uri\_mismatch" on the login screen.

## Language and content

The primary language changes menus, labels, mails and legal page selection. It does **not** translate product names, descriptions or custom page bodies. Those are single fields that render as written, so use one language consistently or keep both variants in the copy.

## Currency

Prices are stored in the currency you pick here. Changing the currency converts existing prices with the current exchange rate and records the new value, so check the shop after a change. The panel warns you when the rate feed is stale and falls back to approximate rates instead of showing a wrong conversion.

## Social links

The social tab holds the profile URLs that the footer icons point to. Leave a field empty to hide that icon.

## File uploads

Logo, favicon, product images and gallery images share one uploader. It accepts WEBP, JPG, PNG and GIF, rejects oversized files before uploading, and resizes images to the recommended dimensions.

## Maintenance mode

Switch the store to maintenance when you are changing the catalogue. Visitors see a short "we'll be back" page instead of the storefront, while the admin panel stays reachable for signed in staff.
