Appearance → Custom CSS is a single stylesheet box that applies to every page of every theme. It loads after the theme’s own style file, so your rules win when selectors collide, and an empty box adds nothing at all.
Use it for small overrides: hide a section, recolour a button, adjust spacing. Structural changes belong in the theme editor, not here.

How the box works

Common overrides

Selectors change between themes and between Vexaris updates. A selector that works on Azure may do nothing on Meridian. Keep rules narrow, test each theme you actually use, and recheck after a version update.

How to find the right selector

  1. Open the storefront page in your browser
  2. Right click the element, choose Inspect
  3. Copy the class that is closest to the element you want to change
  4. Prefix nothing, write the rule plain, save and check

Scope rules of thumb

  • One rule, one purpose
  • Comment each block so future you understands it
  • If a rule needs !important everywhere, the theme editor or a support ticket is the better path
  • When a theme update breaks your overrides, clear the box first, then re-add rules one by one to find the culprit
